From September 16 to 21, the Humboldt Universität in Berlin hosted the Kick-off meeting of the ERC-Synergy Grant Project “DHARMA”, that sees the University of Naples “L’Orientale” involved as a partner institution. This workshop was an opportunity to gather several members of the research teams active at the various institutions that cooperate within this project, who presented and discussed together the research lines that will be fostered in the frame of this network. Moreover, international experts, such as Gabriel Bodard, Tom Elliot and Simona Stoyanova, led an intensive workshop on EpiDoc, the markup language that we will use both in the DHARMA and in the SHIVADHARMA project to encode the texts of our inscriptions.
Here you can read the programme of the Berlin workshop, while here you can read the final report written by the corresponding PI of the DHARMA project, Emmanuel Francis.
Two members of the Naples team participated in the Berlin workshop, namely Florinda De Simini, who presented the SHIVADHARMA project and its intersections with the DHARMA project, and Csaba Kiss, who just got hired as a postdoctoral fellow at the University “L’Orientale” in the frame of the DHARMA project.
