Talks by Csaba Deszö at UniOr (Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest)
Csaba Dezső is a regular visiting professor at L’Orientale University of Naples in the frame of the Dharma Project.
Prof. Csaba Dezső, visiting professor at L’Orientale University of Naples in the framework of the ERC-funded Dharma Project, will lead reading sessions of the Bālarāmāyaṇa by Rājaśekhara, on the basis of a new critical edition that he is doing in collaboration with SAS Sarma (EFEO-Pondicherry, Dharma Project), and Andrey Klebanov (University of Vienna).
He also gave two lectures: on May 17th he spoke on “Reading classical Indian literature (kāvya) as a source of history”, and on May 24th he presented on “The aesthetics of ruins in classical Indian literature (kāvya)”
