The Shivadharma group has opened the New Year with a full immersion in the “Old Text about the Future” (Bhaviṣyapurāṇa)! Our guest for this workshop was prof. Peter Bisschop from Leiden University, who guided us in the reading of the text during the last week of January. During our reading, we were interested in finding the parallels between this purāṇa with chapters of the Śivadharmaśāstra.
Our friends and colleagues from the University of Bologna also attended the workshop in presence along with our group of scholars and professors from the University of Naples L’Orientale. Many other scholars participated to the workshop online.
It was a fruitful exchange and a successful first step into 2022 for our research group!
