On November 16th, 2019, Florinda led a reading session on chapter 1 of the Śivadharmottara during the “Age of Vedānta” conference, organised by Elaine Fisher at Stanford University. During this lecture, she focussed on a chapter of the early Śaiva text that has been rewritten several times in different sectarian contexts, highlighting the changes that it underwent during its many rebirths, and the strategies of adaptation used by the communities that were responsible for its translations and rewritings
